Second St. House "On call/relief" Counselor
Summary: Provide support services to consumers in a therapeutic residential or day treatment milieu in accordance with established program objectives and the treatment goals of each individual being served. Is available to work flexible hours and all shifts.
Required availability: Incumbent must report for work at least 70% of all requested shifts within each six-month period. Failure to meet this standard, or failure to be available on three consecutive occasions, may warrant corrective action, up to and including termination of employment.
Education and Experience Required: High school diploma (or G.E.D.). Additionally, the following are required within 30 days of employment: valid Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker's Permit and driver's license with proof of insurance and safe driving record; tuberculin skin test documentation; unexpired certificates of completion of approved First Aid, CPR, and HIV/AIDS training courses.
Education and Experience Preferred: Experience in providing direct services to individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance abuse; or experience as caregiver within a nursing home or home healthcare situation.

Relief Nurse (RN) - Day Shift
Summary: Provides nursing services according to qualifications and training (RCW 18.79.260) and/or non-nursing services (as directed) to consumers with chronic mental illnesses, in outpatient settings; works within a multi-disciplinary team, assisting clients to become as independent as possible within the community.
Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current licensure as a registered nurse as issued by Washington State Board of Nursing (RCW 18.79.030); valid Washington State driver's license and proof of insurance, with car available, within 30 days of employment.
Education and Experience Preferred: Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in a mental health or acute care facility or skilled nursing home; two years experience working with chronically mentally ill adults.

Case Manager
Summary: Provides in-community and on-site case management services to adults who are in need of intensive supports. Provides services that are congruent with the age, strengths, and cultural framework of the individual and are conducted with the individual, his or her family, or others who play a direct role in assisting the individual to establish and/or maintain stability in his/her daily life. Promotes recovery, resilience, rehabilitation, and reintegration.
Education and Experience Required: Master's degree (preferred), or a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Human Services or related behavioral science; Washington State Counselor's registration; and a valid Washington State driver's license, with car available and proof of current insurance. Applicant must have safe driving record and meet requirements to drive Agency vehicles, as necessary.

Summary: Assists Human Resources Coordinator in developing, implementing, and maintaining various human resources programs and procedures for all employees, volunteers and interns of Peninsula Community Mental Health Center.
